Don’t Park on Park Road!

There are precious few places to park in London, and it’s not always easy even in zone three. Until recently I lived on Park Road. Walking up the road one day, I was intrigued to find that the No Parking signs become progressively more dilapidated as you move away from the main road.

No Parking. No Parking. No Parking. No Parking. Somewhat a metaphor for life in London: you can’t stop or you’ll be in the way. Everybody must rush. If you’re better off, you’ll have your own space. Nobody who falls through the cracks can have space.

Admittedly, I have just left London as I’d had enough, so I’m probably focusing on the negatives…
